Practitioner and educator

Alex came to acupuncture from having treatment from a young age, which inspired him to go onto study complimentary therapies. He originally trained in massage therapy and bodywork in 2012 and then went on to study his bachelors of science in acupuncture at the Norther Collage of Acupuncture (NCA) in York in 2013. After completing his degree he continued to study and completed his Masters of science degree in Chinese herbal medicine, alongside other short courses. Alex also taught for 6 years at the NCA, working as a clinical supervisor/tutor and leading the year one clinical skills and points module in 2019. He now teaches short courses for postgraduate acupuncturists and speaks at conferences, he also teaches annually at Leeds medical university, teaching student GP’s about the theory and practise of acupuncture.He is a member of the Association of Acupuncture Clinicians and the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine Practitioners.
